Unreliable foods from China, and the USA

One may be angry about the title of this article, but there is a reasonable reason why I say “Unreliable food from china and THE USA” Do you know the famous Lollipop, the Tootsie Pop Miniature? Well, at the front it says that it used natural coloring, but according to a scientific research, it was found that artificial coloring was added into the manufacturing process of the renowned Lollipop. Well, one can not really rely on anything, don’t you think?

Also, some foods were produced from China, that was found with chemicals that have the potential to cause cancer. A famous snack in Korea, called “Pan Ddae Ggi” with 4 flavors, which is similar as “Fruit by the foot” in USA, was found with a chemical that is known to cause cancer. Well, do look at the Nutritional facts and ingredients of the food, when you buy something for both your family and yourself.

There are some suspicion that Morning Coffee contains 20% of calories you should intake everyday. A research recentlly done by a Consumer Group in England said that it might be healthier if you eat a hamburger instead of having a morning coffee and a piece of cake.

According to the research results, one cup of Mocha Coffee made in (Fat Milk) sold in coffe shops contained about 396 Kilo Calories, which is really high. A cup of Mocha Coffee made in Low-fat milk contained about 326 Kilop Calories, while black coffee didn’t contain ANY calories (!!) A Cafe Latte made of No-Fat milk contained about 71 Kilo Calories, while Cappuchino only contained 27 Kilo Calories.

Also, a cake sold at a coffe shop that is topped with chocolate contains more than 600 Kcal, while a Cheese/Pickle Sandwich contains about 500 Kcal. Researchers revealed that some coffeshop’s cake even had more calories than the Mcdonald’s Big Mac. (WOW)The recommended dose of Calorie for man and woman is 2500/2000Kcal each.

Well, I recommend you guys not to go to coffee shop and have loads of coffee and cake.

Nintendo Wii Launched in Korea

Although this article isn’t that new, there are still many people who don’t know that Wii is launched in Korea. That was also the case of me. Recently, Nintendo Korea launched its Korean version of Wii. It costs 249000won.

Microsoft Korea and Sony Korea is ironically welcoming the Nintendo Wii’s launch. Although the Xbox 360 and the PS3 hasn’t been selling well at the United states and in Japan, they are welcoming the launch of Nintendo Wii because they think that it might make the Console game market even bigger. Nintendo Wii is now launched all around the world and it has sold more than 13170000 sets. Nintendo said that its ultimate goal is to make a game console that would be welcomed by all generations.

And also, there are many game titles being released by the Wii. For example, there is Wii sports, Wii Fit, Sonic, and etc… Well, good luck Nintendo Wii~

Hey, Dogs don’t deserve this!!!

There are more than 100 dogs in the building of Korea Dog Rescue Association, including some Alaskan Malamutes. This dog was found at a mountain unharmed. He can even pull a sled at Alaska. However, he is scheduled to be killed ‘humanely’ 4 days later. Other then him, there are many other dogs who are in a situation similar to this Alaskan Malamute’s situation. “Because nobody wanted to adopt him, we should kill him.” said an official of KDRA.

More than 15000 dogs in Seoul alone are abandoned every year and caged at the KDRA. 80% of the dogs in KDRA are killed ‘humanely’ even though they are healthy, and only 20% of the dogs are adopted by people.

1. KDRA is located at Yang Jae Dong, Gyonggi province, which make it more difficult for people to access it.

2. KDRA is not clean, according to the picture of one netizon

3. KDRA lacks funding, which makes KDRA harder to keep abandoned animals.

4. KDRA kills animal that has been at the KDRA fore more than 1 month.

Solutions

There has been an experiment at Seoul. It was about ‘caring abandoned animals at provicial pet hospital. The result came out really good. 73% of the dogs were adopted or went back to their original family. If this ‘local pet hospital service’ is implemented, there will be less animals who will become stray dogs or cats.

However, the main problem isn’t this. The main problems are irresponsible, heartless people who abandon their friends.

Boxer Dies After the match at Christmas

Choi defended his World Boxing Organization intercontinental flyweight title on Dec. 25 against Indonesian Heri Amol. However, due to this match, he lost his life. He got a punch to the jaw and several punch to his head. When he was hit at the jaw Choi got up. But immediately after the final bell, lost consciousness. He underwent a two-hour operation to stop bleeding in his brain and has been connected to a ventilator since. But he was determined as brain-dead yesterday at hospital.

However, it seems that the organs of Choi Yo Sam will be donated. “He wrote in his diary that he wanted to help others,” Choi Gyeong-ho , who is his manager and his brother said in a press conference. “We think organ donation is the last thing he can do as he leaves us. My brother lived for boxing and died for boxing.”

Before he died, he was the only person in Korea to hold a world Champion status.
